Curio 2024

Curio 2024

Curio is an annual pop-up shop that showcases innovative, handcrafted products from students of all disciplines at Brigham Young University. The shop creates an opportunity for students to develop creative skills, work collaboratively with other artisans, and market their unique wares and brands. Each year, a team of graphic design students rebrands and markets the shop, art directs new product photography, and builds a new online and in person store experience. My primary role was updating the online store experience.

The logotype was inspired by American wood type, and the icons were handcrafted to represent symbols of the American west.

The color palette drew inspiration from traditional woven rugs and textiles.

Each team member created a bespoke textile-inspired pattern using the brand icons and color palette.

The Motion, Web, & Social team worked together to create the online experience. My role involved branding the website template.

The art direction team led the headshot, product and editorial photography shoots.

The Storefront team concepted, outfitted, and constructed the pop up shop space. They also designed the Curio packaging system with the Input/Output team.
