Torani was founded by Italian immigrants in San Francisco, a dual identity that I expressed by creating a detailed illustration with two halves, each representing iconic vistas of the Italian countryside and San Francisco cityscape. I wanted the packaging to evoke a feeling that represented the era of Torani’s inception, thus pulling a great deal of inspiration from the Art Deco movement.
